Cooper Riverside Park
Located in the heart of downtown, the Cooper Riverside Park is a three-acre park that features lush greenery, sculptures, and a scenic view of the ships along the busy port. It is also home to the beautiful Mobile River. It is the perfect place for your loved one to take a walk, have a picnic, or simply sight-see on a Sunday afternoon!
Perdido Vineyards
If your loved one is a fan of alcoholic beverages, the Perdido Vineyards is a must visit! Established more than 35 years ago, they offer tastings of a variety of wines, vinegars and condiments. They also offer tours of their vineyards.
Mobile International Speedway
Opened in 1965, the Mobile International Speedway is Alabama’s fastest half mile asphalt racetrack! In its glory days dated back to the 1960s, the track hosted open-wheel racing that attracted many worthy competitors, such as Bobby Allison, Dale Hammac and Armond Holley. Today, it hosts races every other Saturday, a must-visit for sports lovers!
