NOLA museums are second to none – and are in abundance! When people think of New Orleans, what usually comes to mind is music to groove to, drinks to imbibe, food to eat, and lots of sites to see. However, if you don’t explore the museums, you’re missing a big part of New Orleans. A wide range of expertise and interests are tapped into courtesy of the town’s museums. New Orleans does, in fact, dedicate an entire month to these institutions. “Museum Month” is celebrated every August with discounts and special deals for museum lovers.
